Student Placements at CAMH

CAMH is a teaching hospital fully affiliated with the University of Toronto. CAMH also maintains affiliation agreements with many other universities and colleges.  All professional disciplines provide training opportunities for students in their respective disciplines. CAMH provides a very rich academic environment for students, and students are welcome to attend the vast array of educational events held each academic year at the Centre.

How To Access a Student Placement at CAMH

All professional disciplines at CAMH have a discipline chief and student placements are organized under the auspices of the discipline chief. Our Programs welcome the participation of students each year. Because of the high volume of requests we receive, we ask that faculty liaisons from the universities and colleges contact us regarding the placement process.

In many of our disciplines, we have introduced the role of education coordinators.  There are nine staff from five disciplines who coordinate student training in addition to their regular work.  These student coordinators collaborate with the universities and colleges to develop and implement educational opportunities.
