Free Public Lecture on September 14, 2008
Interested in learning more about brain inhibition in the development and treatment of schizophrenia, the epigenomics of major
psychosis, or finding genes that contribute to depression in children? On September 14 , 2008, world-leading scientists will
give plain language presentations, focusing on current research, exciting and innovative treatments on the horizon, and where
psychiatric research is headed. A brief question and answer period will also follow each presentation.
Moderated by CAMH's Dr. James Kennedy and Dr. Allan Kaplan and featuring presentations from CAMH's Dr. Z. Jeff Daskalakis
and Dr. Arturas Petronis, this event is part of an international day of free public forums on the progress and promise of
mental health research.
